The inaugural Penang International Food Festival (PIFF2017) of sizzling food and culture will be held over 16 days from the 15th to 30th April 2017 where its main venues are at Lebuh Pantai, Jalan Kelawai and Gurney Paragon Mall.
Visitors can experience and indulge in Penang’s famed food and culture. Each weekend will have a theme, namely, ‘Savour the Past’, ‘Enjoy the Present’ and ‘Relish the Future’ – foods of the past, present and future will be brought together to sizzle and excite taste buds the Penang way. There will also be pocket events held at other venues throughout the 16 days.
The festival is organised by TLM Event with the endorsement of the Penang State Government and the support of Penang Island City Council (MBPP) as well as Penang Global Tourism. As Penang is especially famous for its street food the world over owing to its incredible taste, variety and quality, PIFF2017 aims to promote and establish Penang as Asia’s food capital.
