Foods that help to accelerate hair growth


1. Salmon
  • The omega-3 fatty acids contained in this fish strengthen hair follicles and stimulate hair growth. Scientific experiments have shown that the consumption of products containing these acids shortens the telogen phase which is the resting period of hair follicles, for half a year. In addition, salmon contains vitamin B12 and iron, which also help your hair grow faster.
2. Chicken
  • Chicken is rich in animal protein, and we need it for the production of keratin. Protein deficiency for only 2 to 3 months leads to a halt in hair growth as well as hair loss. Other than chicken, varieties of meat like turkey and rabbit also contain enough animal protein.
3. Almonds
  • Almonds contain vitamin E, which activates hair growth and strengthens the hair. 30 grams of almonds, about 15-20 nuts contains 70% of the daily norm. In addition, almonds contain such useful substances as biotin, fatty acids, and B vitamins.
4. Eggs
  • Eggs contain necessary elements for hair growth and maintenance of normal hair condition, such as protein and biotin. Biotin as the food additive is recommended to stop hair loss, but, being obtained with food, it will be much more effective. In addition, eggs contain leucine and other amino acids our hair needs.
5. Oyster
  • Oysters are a goldmine of zinc, due to which hair grows faster and gets shiny. An oyster a day more than compensates the daily need of this element.
