Pay for Lazada purchases at 7-Eleven

Those who do not own a credit card or simply wish to purchase goods on the e-commerce platform Lazada can now pay cash at any of the over 2,000 7-Eleven outlets nationwide.

This is the result of a collaboration between the convenience store chain operator, Lazada and payment gateway provider MOLPay.

The payment method is targeted at those without credit cards, foreign workers and users that are not comfortable with online payment methods.

The round-the-clock operation hours at 7-Eleven will make it easy for customers to make their payments anytime they want, according to 7-Eleven Malaysia Holdings Bhd CEO Gary Brown.

The purchasing process on Lazada remains the same, where users can simply choose what to purchase, add the item to the cart, and then proceed to the payment page.

At the payment page, users have to select the “Cash at 7-Eleven” payment option before placing the order. No additional charges apply.

Once completed, a payment code will be provided, and should be presented when making the cash payment at the 7-Eleven outlet. Payment must be made within 48 hours or the order will expire.

Upon the completion of payment, the item will be shipped to the customer.
