With the popularity of aesthetic dining, it seems almost all of the hole-in-the-wall restaurants and cafes are becoming the top destination of hipsters, grammers, and foodists. They are for a place that provides the perfect food with a unique design and vibe to boot.

Brewmen

It would be hard to miss the two giant cycles that are hanging vertically in front of Brewmen in Solaris Mont Kiara. They’re one of the most inventive when it comes to artisan coffee, serving drinks like Reverse Coffee, Queen Bee, Espresso Bomb, and Red Latte.

While The Grumpy Cyclists is a biker-friendly hub, they really do not live up to the “Grumpy” part of their name. They have the friendliest and most cheerful staff you can expect from a cafe. Other than coffees and cakes, they have a shower for bikers to use whenever they need to.

LOKL (a play of the word “local”) can be found at Jalan Tun H.S. Lee, right at the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Owned by actress Cheryl Samad, it has chic vintage decor that helps give the cafe a very comfortable vibe, it also has a wall filled with pictures of the local scene in Malaysia.

Sugar Rush

Their motto, “Making the world a better place…one ganache-topped, cream-filled, almond-coated, sugar-dusted butter cake at a time” isn’t just some advertising gimmick. For the people who have tried their cake, Sugar Rush certainly made their world a better place.
